The procedure is ideal for anyone who might feel unhappy with that little extra tissue hanging below the belly button. The ideal candidate will be in overall good health, a non -smoker, understand the Mini Tummy Tuck procedure, and hold a realistic surgical expectations.
The procedure begins, by making a short incision just above the pubic bone. Once any unwanted fat tissue and lax skin have been removed, the surgeon will pull the skin taut and tighten the abdominal muscles. To ensure proper healing, dissolvable sutures will be inserted into the abdomen.

The procedure does create a small scar, but it is much smaller than that of the traditional Tummy Tuck. The scar can be easily concealed under clothing, and will also fade (to a degree) over time.
Most people can return to work after one or two weeks.
All surgeries carry some risk of complications including poor wound healing, uncontrolled bleeding, nerve damage and unexpected scarring, but these are all very rare.
